Planning for the 2017 Relay for Life of Greene County will start at a meeting Thursday, Sept. 15, at 5 pm at the Jefferson Matters: Main Street office at 110 W. Lincoln Way in Jefferson.
Anyone interested in serving on the leadership team for this important community event is invited to attend. Many committees comprise the team so no single person is overly burdened, but all feel the sense of accomplishment on Relay Day. “We have such a great group of people involved, that planning is not only rewarding but fun,” Relay chair Peg Raney said.
The 2017 Relay for Life of Greene County will be Saturday, April 22, at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson.
